Shipping (Postage & Packaging)

We endeavour to process and dispatch all orders within 1 - 2 working days. On rare occasions, items may be out of stock in our warehouse whilst showing as available on the website. In such circumstances we will e-mail or call you ASAP.

1. Shipping charges are calculated automatically according to the weight of the items ordered.
2. Customers may calculate shipping rates by clicking on 'estimate' in the shopping cart
3. Free shipping to destinations in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands) will be applied to orders worth £65.00 or more. This promotion applies solely to orders placed directly through the website. Free shipping will not be applied to trade orders and orders placed via e-mail, fax, post or phone.
4. The maximum shipping charge for UK Orders (excluding Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands) is £6.95. This maximum shipping charge applies solely to orders placed directly through the website. It does not apply to trade orders and orders placed via e-mail, fax, post or phone.
5. Some special items may have free shipping. If so, this will be indicated under the price of the product. Such promotions will apply solely to orders placed directly through the website. Free shipping will not be applied to trade orders and orders placed via e-mail, fax, post or phone.
6. At the moment, we do not have automatic shipping calculations for destinations outside the UK. For such orders, you may e-mail us for a shipping quote. Alternatively, you may place your order and choose the 'Non UK customers' option. After receiving your order, we will e-mail you your shipping options within 1-2 working days. Payment will only be processed if and when you confirm your preferred shipping method.

Delivery Targets - United Kingdom

First class post (standard or recorded delivery) - First Class mail aims to deliver your order by the next working day after posting.*

Second class post (standard or recorded delivery) - Second Class mail aims to deliver your order by the third working day after posting.*

Standard First or Second class Delivery is a non-tracked service.

Recorded First or Second class delivery requires a signature upon receipt.

* Please note that orders sent via Royal Mail First or Second Class (standard or recorded delivery) cannot be considered lost until after 15 working days of posting. Therefore, we are unable to re-ship lost or delayed orders sent by the aforementioned Royal Mail services, before 15 working days have expired. Please opt for the courier service if you require orders urgently. Azhar Academy Ltd is not liable for orders that are returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address. In such cases, there will be an additional postage charge for re-delivery.

Courier Service (Excluding Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands) – Guaranteed attempted delivery by the next working day after posting. This service is tracked and requires a signature upon receipt. It is ideal for urgent or quick deliveries. If recipient is not available, a calling card will be left with contact details to re-arrange delivery. Arranging re-delivery will be the customer's responsibility. Delivery may be attempted on up to three separate occasions, after which it is returned to Azhar Academy Ltd. To re-send the order after it has been returned to us will incur a further £9.00 postage charge.

For Northern Ireland & Scottish Highlands, we offer a guaranteed attempted delivery by three working days after posting. This service is tracked and requires a signature upon receipt. It costs £23.00 and is for a parcel weighing up to 30 KG. For parcels weighing less than 2KG, we can use Standard or Recorded delivery as outlined above.

Non-UK destinations

The following non-UK delivery options are not available directly on our websites at the moment. We can offer shipping rates on request. Below are the shipping services we offer.

Standard Airmail – Aims to deliver within 3-5 working days to Western Europe, 5-7 working days to Eastern Europe and 7-10 working days to the rest of the world.

Items shipped to non-UK destinations via Standard Airmail cannot be considered lost until after 20 working days for items going to Europe and after 25 working days for Rest of the World.

Courier Service to Europe – A fully tracked service that aims to deliver within 2-8 working days, depending on destination. Value for money service for parcels weighing up to 30KG.

Courier Service To Destinations Outside Europe – 2-5 working days, fully tracked service to destinations across the world using reliable companies such as DHL and FedEx.

Royal Mail Worldwide – Economical, value for money, 5-10 working days Non-tracked Service. This service is for books only, and for parcels weighing less than 11 KG.

Working Days

Please note that working days are any days excluding Saturday, Sunday, and Public holidays. Failure to enter correct billing and shipping information when placing an order may result in it being delayed.

 

Collecting Orders From Warehouse

Orders placed with the option of 'Collect Order from Our Warehouse' usually take 1-2 working days to be processed. These orders are only to be collected after receiving notification by e-mail or phone that the order is ready.

Orders should be collected within 10 days of notification. Orders that are not collected within 10 days will be cancelled and payment refunded if already paid for.
