RE: Hazrat Shaykh Maulana Yusuf Motala [Rahmatullah Alayh]

It is with the heaviest broken heart, that we write to inform you that our dearest, most beloved Shaykh, Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Motala (Rahmatullahi Alayh) has sadly passed away, after Maghrib Salaah on the evening of Sunday 8th September 2019, in Toronto, Canada.

We pray that Allah SWT elevates Hazrat's status in Jannah-tul-Firdous, accept all of the work of Deen conducted by Hazrat and his students and that he grant sabr to the family and his loved ones at this difficult time

اللهم اغفر له وارحمه وعافه واعف عنه واكرم نزله ووسع مدخله واغسله بالماء والثلج والبرد ونقّه من الخطايا كما ينقّى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس وأبدله داراً خيراً من داره وأهلاً خيراً من أهله وادخله الجنَة ونجه من عذاب القبر وعذاب النار, اٰمين

As you are aware, Hazrat is our founder and patron, who has been at the forefront of our work. He is our guide, our mentor and teacher, and we as an Ummah are greatly indebted to Hazrat for his sacrifices, his efforts and his work in spreading Islam throughout the UK, the West & the wider world; he will always be known as the scholars scholar.

We humbly request you to remember our dearest Shaykh (Rahmatullahi Alayh) in your Duas.
